Air Emissions Estimates

EE&G has extensive experience in determining applicability, identifying emission sources, collecting process and operational data and calculating emissions. EE&G personnel has prepared state-mandated air emission inventories for facilities ranging from small manufacturing plants to large Kraft pulp mills. EE&G uses approved industry-specific factors to calculate speciated fugitive emissions.

EE&G has conducted numerous Air Quality Impact Assessments that have included SCREEN and/or refined air dispersion modeling. The menu-driven programs used by EE&G are enhanced versions of EPA dispersion models, such as ISCST3. EE&G incorporates the latest model versions incorporating spreadsheet-compatible data grids, terrain elevations data support and on-screen graphics. EE&G selects the models most appropriate for the clients' needs and obtains regulatory approval.
